The major challenge facing irrigated agriculture today is producing more food using less water per unit of output i.e. increasing water productivity in both, irrigated and rain fed agriculture. This goal will only be achieved if the appropriate water saving technologies, management tools, and policies are in place. All those involved in irrigation water management \u2013 managers, farmers, workers need to be encouraged and guided, through appropriate policies and incentives, to save\/ conserve water and to minimize wastage to mitigate negative environmental impacts. Bountiful yield is archived if farmers use proper way of caring the crops in all growth stages so as to deliver healthily seeds, fruits,vegetables and flowersrearing of crops in the field include supplying of  desirable plant nutrients via fertilizers application, good agronomic practices, land preparations such as tillage insure tilth condition for pant root penetration  all above render nothing to plants if there is enough water supplied to the crops to meet their requirements for growth to maturity because water is the cornerstone constituent in plant food manufacturing process i.e  Photosynthesis.<\/p>\n\n\n

Therefore during water application a lot of water get lost through different ways such as evaporation, runoff, deep percolation also water lost in the field in bare lands (uncroped areas). Thus why we need to have irrigation skills S<\/em>o as to minimize water losses to the maximum and to insure that plants get the required amount of water for consumption also irrigation skills pave the way for soil conservation that we will see it later, with good irrigation methods(surface irrigation) crop yield doubles …..increase upto 54% compared to convection methods, moreover for advanced irrigation methods such as micro irrigation methods such as<\/p>\n\n\n\n
